Privacy Policy

Gutgloco ("we", "us", "our") is operated by VT United Enterprise, and operates gutgloco.com, selling Spi²ro Plus — a Wellous product — as an authorised reseller in Singapore. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how we handle it, in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA), which applies to us as a Malaysia-registered business.
What we collect
When you place an order or contact us, we collect:
- Contact information: full name, email address, phone number
- Shipping address (Singapore only, at present)
- Order details: items purchased, order value, order date
- Payment information: processed directly by our payment processor, HitPay — we do not store your full card number, CVV, or bank login details ourselves
- Communications you send us (e.g. emails to hello@gutgloco.com, WhatsApp messages if you contact us that way)
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 years old. This site is not intended for use by minors.
We do not use any tracking or analytics cookies on this site.
Why we collect it
- To process and fulfil your order (packing, dispatch, delivery)
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and — if you request it — the free Eat-Out Gut Guide PDF
- To respond to questions sent to hello@gutgloco.com
- To meet our own record-keeping and accounting obligations
- To improve the site (aggregated, non-identifying usage patterns only)
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Who we share it with
- Our payment processor, HitPay, to process payment
- Our courier partners: DHL and Ninja Van (currently handling live orders), plus GDEX and Citylink (onboarded ahead of future Malaysia delivery)
- Wellous, only to the extent necessary to fulfil an authenticity or replacement claim under our guarantee (see Refund & Replacement Policy)
We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
How long we keep it
We keep your order and contact information for 1 year from your order date, to handle any replacement claims, respond to enquiries, and meet our own record-keeping needs. After that, it's deleted unless we're required to keep it longer for accounting or legal reasons.
Your rights under the PDPA (Malaysia)
Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you can ask us to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Withdraw or limit your consent for us to use your data for marketing (this does not affect data we must keep for order fulfilment or legal reasons)
- Stop processing your data where it's likely to cause you damage or distress
To do any of this, email hello@gutgloco.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time as required under the Act.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your data, including relying on our payment processor's PCI-compliant infrastructure for anything payment-related. No online system is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Cookies
We don't use tracking or analytics cookies on this site. Any cookies present are strictly functional (e.g. keeping your cart/checkout session working) and are not used to track you across other sites.
